12 PROJECTS IN 12 MONTHS / #3

Third project is a DIY mouse pad! A super simple project that is fun and easy for sure. I am all about easy and simple nowadays so this was perfect.
All you need is some fabric, spray adhesive, and a mouse pad.
First thing I did was cut the fabric to fit around the mouse pad, leaving enough on the sides to fold over on the mouse pad. Sprayed the adhesive to the front of the mouse pad and pressed down the fabric to make sure it was all even.
Next, I cut the corners in three spots making it easier to fold over evenly.
The back is a hot mess, but it was so sticky from the adhesive I put the scrap pieces of fabric left over on the back to cover the sticky spots. You could also use Modge Podge for this project, but I didn't have any left so I used spray adhesive and it worked just fine.
Turned out great! Looks super cute on my desk.
