- 2 packets Bisquick buttermilk biscuit mix - 7.5oz (try saying that three times!)
- 1 cup water
- 1 jar pizza sauce - 14oz
- 1 package sliced pepperoni - 8oz
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese - 8oz
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 13x9 inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Mix the buttermilk biscuit mix and water together in a medium bowl, until the dough becomes soft.
Divide the dough in half, and spread it evenly on bottom of baking dish. The dough will not cover the entire dish.
Drizzle 1 cup of pizza sauce over the dough.
Put half of the pepperoni and cheese evenly over the pizza sauce. Repeat layers with remaining dough, sauce, pepperoni and cheese.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. When we made this, I cooked it for 25 minutes, and it could've gone another 5-10 minutes or so. The dish should be more golden brown when finished, ours was a little too doughy and soft, but still overall really good!
Pizza in a bake form, yum yum!
