christmas 2015.

We celebrated our Christmas with the kids on Christmas Eve morning at our house. The kids were super excited but shockingly didn't wake up till around 8am! Worked for me! Miss Hadley was already up and ate her breakfast and back to sleep by the time they started presents. So we had the kids save a few presents to open with her, and then they helped her open her presents. Which she is clearly not too interested in opening, and more concerned about all the paper.
For Christmas Eve we went to my cousin's house. We started a tradition when my Grandma June was alive and wore PJ's to Christmas Eve. I love the idea, it makes the night so much more relaxed. Plus it's fun to buy cute Christmas PJ's for the kids too! We do a gift exchange, and my brother asked for a cowbell and got one! Again, more traditions with our Grandma June, but during every Bengals game she had a little cowbell she would ring every time they would get a touchdown. So whoever lives near my brother, hopefully you will be hearing lots of cowbell ringing as they play the Broncos for Monday night football! Oh and thanks Ema for the family photo of all of us, love it!!!
Christmas Day morning we went to my parents house. We started out with breakfast, and then my brother, sister-in-law and nephew came over and we dove into the presents. Miss Hadley had a rough night the night before, so she decided it was best to take a 3.5 hour nap! So needless to say we were at my parents for awhile, but it was okay because she needed the sleep. Best part about these photos is the radio flyer wagon my Dad got. It is almost identical to the one my brother and I had growing up. He couldn't wait to put it together and wheel her around in it.
We received so many Christmas cards this year! Everyday in December, both my husband and I race to the mailbox to see what cards we got that day.
The Sunday after Christmas, we went to my in-laws house to celebrate Christmas with them and my brother/sister-in-law. It was a very wet and rainy day at the lake, all the docks are flooded! All the cousins have fun together and Miss Hadley just takes it all in. The last photo was the best one out of all the outtakes, it's hard to get 6 kids to smile all at the same time and be happy about it lol

It was a great Christmas this year! Everyone had a good time. It's so fun to watch the pure happiness in the kids eyes as they open gifts. It's even more fun to play Santa!

Hope everyone had a happy merry Christmas!
