new planner.

My new 2013 planner this year is from Erin Condren! This will be the second year I've used her products. I wrote a more in depth post last year on the specifics of the planner and everything it has in it.
For this year, I chose the pink chevron cover and put my initials at the bottom to personalize it. Love chevron.
When you open the planner, the first page is "this is my life" and a few lines to write something. I haven't written in those spaces yet because I'm not sure what to put there. What I love about this is the quotes Erin Condren uses throughout the book, very inspiring.
On instagram, I posted the quote "Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery. Today is a gift." I started using this the last week in December. Already writing in notes in the days. For the monthly calendars, I used the birthday labels that come with the book and put everyone's birthday's in different colors so it stands out.
On the weekly pages I use different colors of washi tape to mark when my bills are due. I use this planner like it's my life. Hence the name of it "life planner" lol Some of my friends have steered away from the paper planners and use nothing but their phone for their calendar. I can't seem to cross over to that yet. I have to write things down, I love having lists, that's how I like it. Maybe one day I'll cross over to the electronic world for my calendar, but for now I'll stick with this. It works for me.
The stickers are at the end of the book and their are plenty to choose from. Even blank ones that you can write in anything you'd like to. New this year is the vote one, pretty cool.
She leaves a few blank pages to use as you wish. Notes, lists, anything. And again, more quotes to read. Love it!
The last few pages is a little pocket to keep your receipts, ticket stubs, grocery lists, etc in. I don't really use it at all but it's nice to have in case. The little plastic pocket is another place to keep things. It comes with a few personalized stickers, calling cards, and paper clips. It has a place for everything!
If you are looking for a new organizational tool, I highly recommend Erin Condren's life planner! It's awesome.
