a view into our weekend.

Our weekend was busy busy and fun fun! Started off with Friday date night, just me and the boy. We did a little birthday shopping for his dad, ran some errands, ate dinner at one of our favorite places BW's, then came home and just chilled.

Saturday morning, Brady had a basketball game and then we were headed to the lake for some birthday fun. Kev's Dad turned 60! It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, and the weather wasn't too cold. Just enough for a light jacket. We did a little shooting and I quickly realized I love shotguns. Click click boom! The kids love being with their cousins, and we love seeing the newest addition Mattie. Such a sweet baby. It was a nice day seeing everyone.

 

Sunday was awesome. Kevin and Brady went to see the Nuclear Cowboyz, which is freestyle motorcross, they do tricks with their bikes. Little miss Natalie and I went to the Newport Aquarium and saw massive fisheys. She loved it. I think her favorite part was when she got to touch a live starfish, and tried to pet the sharks. They were swimming pretty fast, she tried but I think was a little too scared. I touched the fin of one, it felt all slimy and hard lol It was cool though. She was a trooper, fighting the crowds on a Sunday when all the kiddos are off for Martin Luther King day. It was a packed house! You had to wait in line to pretty much see any animal there.

 

Fun weekend we had. Now back to the grind. Happy Monday.
