project 5 of 33 : personalized packaging.

A cheap easy way to create your own packaging or to add your own personal touch to an envelope, card, etc.
Supplies needed:
     - kitchen sponge
     - paint
     - paint brush
     - paper plate to mix paint
     - sharpie marker
     - x-acto knife
     - design of your choice
     - envelope, paper, etc.
Since the blog and etsy shop have a ♥ in the name I hand drew a heart on regular computer paper, cut out the heart, and traced it on the sponge with a sharpie marker.
If I had to do this project over, I would do this part differently. I cut off the sponge way too much. I would not have cut so far down on the sponge. It still ended up working, was just a little flimsy when you pressed down. This part would be your preference, since sponges are so cheap ($1 store) you can play with this until you find what works best for you.
Next step is to paint the sponge. Make sure to put a thick coat on, and for me I had to re-apply a few times after I stamped it on the paper/envelope/whatever you are going to use.
Cute little way to add your personal touch to cards, envelopes, packages, etc.
Have fun with this and let me know what you come up with! I'd love to see it!

Thanks for reading.
